As my blog name is beyond imagination my concept is also beyond imagination.

I explained "what is system architecture?" to my extraterrestrial friend alien.

Alien: Hi what's up?

Me:Hey alie, I got admission in vgsom :)

Alien:Congo buddy, hope your enjoying classes

Me:yeah today we learnt about systems architecture in class.Do you know about systems architecture?

Alien:No, I know only flying saucer architecture.Please explain me about systems architecture.

Me:Sure it will be very useful for you alie. Systems Architecture is interconnection of software hardware and computers with networking capabilities.Architecture can be of many types single-tier,two-tier,three-tier and multi-tier architecture.

Alien:How this systems architecture is useful in daily life?

Me:I will explain each and every tier with real life example. In single tier architecture everything resides within the system like data and application. For example Word Processor application.

In two tier architecture (client server architecture) direct communication takes place between client and server. 

 Here the communication is one to one. Let us see the concept of two tier with real time application. For example now we have a need to save all the alien details in database. The two tiers of two-tier architecture is

1. Database (Data tier)
2. Client Application (Client tier)

In three tier architecture the presentation layer user interface is stored in the client. The bulk of business application logic is stored on one or more servers. The data are stored on database server.

Multi tier architecture: This architecture is similar to three tier, difference being that it operates on Internet instead of WAN. As internet is public so no specialised software is required at client side, however the application needs to be web enabled.Because of internet, this architecture is inexpensive and insecure. For secure data firewall should be enabled at each router and system.
